Chain Link Fence

At the end of 2022 we were approached by a storage facility owner. He was wanting to replace part of the entrance chain link fence which was old and in bad shape. It was a little less than 600 ft of old fence demo and new fence install. Once we provided a quote, the owner wanted us to see another area where he was expanding the storage facility and he needed chain link fence installed – it was about 1,800 LF of brand-new fence. We worked with him and discussed different options. We ended up giving him a quote for a 6’ tall fence with 2” chain link fabric and 3 security strands of barb wire attached to security arms on each line post.

He accepted the quote mid December and we had all materials at our yard the first week of January. To begin the installation we had to plow several inches of snow – we needed at least an 8-foot path to be able to drive vehicles and equipment. We drove all posts mechanically without the need of an auger or post-hole diggers. Our equipment was able to drive the posts despite the low temps and the ground being frozen. We were working as much as we could and as much as weather allowed, constantly plowing in order to gain access to the fence lines.

It was a challenging project but we were able to successfully finish it with the help of multiple crew members. The storage facility expansion area is now securely fenced in and the owner was able to move on with his plans.
